Among the resources that the Center for Closely Held Business provides are:
   
Educational forums on the unique situations faced by family and closely held enterprises
   
Opportunities to develop or improve management skills through practical hands-on workshops and case study sessions
   


Peer-to-peer mentoring, networking opportunities, and best-practice sharing among family and closely held business firm members
   



Research support to increase public knowledge, awareness, and
understanding of the contributions of family and closely held businesses to the economy and to the quality of life in communities
   


Future resources will also include consulting and advisory services from William Paterson University faculty, Small Business Development Center advisors, corporate sponsors, and other professional service providers
   


The Center will in future also offer internship opportunities and curriculum development for William Paterson University students to prepare them for jobs in family and closely held firms
