Every training module is designed to culminate with each participant having an opportunity to build a model/project relevant to their own business or professional objectives.

Business Analytics and Effective Decision Making-Using Spreadsheets
Optimization is a critical best value discovery technique in business decision making across- functional domains. Participants in this course will learn to utilize important statistical tools and strategies to apply optimal solutions to cross functional business problems. Working through hands-on exercises with one-on-one guidance, participants will learn to develop optimization models using linear and non-linear techniques. Participants will also benefit from an understanding of the algorithms underlying optimization models that drive predictive analytics.  The workshop is aimed at business professionals and teams seeking to apply optimization analytics in operations, marketing, finance, budget development, forecasting and general management for the purposes of production planning, resource allocation, sensitivity analysis, risk assessment, and project selection.
