He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at William Paterson University. His research interests include race and crime, penology, reentry, and criminal justice policy. He currently works alongside several statewide criminal justice policy organizations in New Jersey examining the collateral consequences of drug policies on communities of color.
