Bilingual/ESL Graduate Programs

The mission of the Bilingual/ESL Graduate Program is to prepare educators to teach linguistically diverse learners through courses that balance current theory and practical experience and foster the development of knowledge and skills needed to support these learners in their development of proficiency and literacy in both their home language(s) and English.

Program Strengths:

• Online learning model designed for busy NJ classroom teachers.
• A direct pathway to additional credentials in ESL and/or Bilingual Education through certification or a master’s degree.  
• TESOL and CAEP National Accreditation.
• Individualized advisement that facilitates completing the program at students’ preferred pace. 
• Annual Bilingual/ESL Conference with a wide range of workshops for additional PD hours.
