Comedian Pete Davidson to Present Special One-Night Pop Up Performance at William Paterson University on Saturday, December 16


Comedian and actor Pete Davidson will present a special pop-up holiday performance at William Paterson University in Wayne on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Davidson, one of the hottest comedians on the scene, will perform an intimate, late-night set at 10:00 p.m. in the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

Davidson is the creator, executive producer, writer, and star of Peacock’s critically acclaimed comedy, Bupkis. He was a cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live from 2014 to 2022, where his singular “Weekend Update” features and original music videos garnered millions of views.

He shot his first one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central in 2016 and was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 the same year. In 2020, he released the stand-up special Pete Davidson: Alive From New York. Davidson was listed as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2022.

Davidson is also a film actor. In 2020, he co-wrote, executive produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed film The King of Staten Island. Additional film work includes Dumb Money, Trainwreck, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Big Time Adolescence, Set It Up, Meet Cute, and Bodies Bodies Bodies. Upcoming projects include Wizards!, I Slept with Joey Ramone, and Riff Raff, which is currently filming on locations in New Jersey.
