William Paterson University Radio Station and TV Station Garner 12 Total Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Award Nominations


William Paterson University’s Brave New Radio and WPTV-6 received a combined 12 media award nominations in the 2024 Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards. The radio station received its twelfth nomination for best station in the nation.

“I am so excited that our students are being recognized and nominated by IBS for all their hours of hard work and dedication to 88.7 Brave New Radio,” says Rob Taylor, WPSC-FM’s general manager. “I wish them the best and hope they win in all their respective categories at this very competitive awards ceremony in March.”

“These nominations are a testament to the spirit of collaboration and excellence that thrives within the Communication Department. Year after year, our students are recognized for their achievements, fueled by a commitment to their education and careers,” says Al Clarke, WPTV club advisor and television studio manager.

Winners will be announced at the Annual IBS Conference on March 2, 2024 in New York City.
