Glen Burtnik to Present “Summer of Love Woodstock Celebration” at William Paterson University on April 30 William Paterson University will host Glen Burtnik’s “Summer of Love Concert,” a tribute to the music of the Woodstock generation, on Saturday, April 30, 2016. The performance will take place at 8 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. Glen Burtnik’s “Summer of Love Concert” is an original tribute to the Woodstock generation and the late 1960s. Back by popular demand at Shea Center, the event will include the famous Pig Light Show, which is known as one of the most psychedelic light shows in rock history. This live celebration will feature music by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, the Beach Boys, the Mamas and the Papas, Joe Cocker, Cream, and more. Burtnik, a New Jersey native, is a renowned singer, songwriter, and bassist. He formerly was a member of the band Styx and the original Broadway production of Beatlemania in which he played Paul McCartney. Burtnik now leads a team of more than a dozen musicians in “Summer of Love” shows. 04/12/16
