Students Majoring in Financial Planning in the Cotsakos College of Business Win First Prize at Government Conference —Students Vincent Stark, Camila Mills-Lamptey, Julian Perez, and Kristen Napoli won first prize at the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators Conference held in Indianapolis, IN Four William Paterson University students majoring in financial planning in the University’s Cotsakos College of Business took first prize at the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators Conference in Indianapolis, IN from September 27 to 30, 2015. Students (shown above) from left included Vincent Stark, Camila Mills-Lamptey, Julian Perez, and Kristen Napoli. They were accompanied by Tao Guo, assistant professor in the College’s Department of Economics, Finance and Global Business. During the conference, students were mentored by experienced practitioners, including administrators of state retirement plans and managers from major investment firms. The team will bring back a trophy for the University and each student will receive a $400 scholarship. The International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFRE) also provided each of four students with a free study guide and waiver of exam fee for their Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC) designation valued at approximately $900 for each student, and an additional copy of the study guide for the University.
