News 12 reporter Rick Holmes stayed from 7 until 11 p.m., interviewing Maribel Rodriguez, associate director of Campus Activities, Service and Leadership, who spoke about William Paterson's commitment to civic engagement. News 12 aired numerous live shots throughout the evening to capture student reactions. Other media coverage included a FiOS1 News report on third graders from Paterson School 12 learning about the electoral process with the help of William Paterson University’s teachers in training.
