Opportunities for Women in Financial Planning is Focus of Program to be held at William Paterson University on Tuesday, October 27 —Jill Schlesinger, CBS Business News Analyst, will be the keynote speaker Jill Schlesinger Financial planning is expected to be one of the fastest growing careers into the next decade, but only about one-third of certified financial planners are women. The Opportunities for Women in Financial Planning program will feature industry leaders and experts who will explain the benefits of a career in financial planning. The Cotsakos College of Business at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ is hosting a program focusing on Opportunities for Women in Financial Planning on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Networking and light refreshments will be held at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the University Commons Ballrooms. The event is free and open to the public. Jill Schlesinger, CFP®, CBS business news analyst, will be the keynote speaker and moderator. Panelists include Kate Healy, TD Ameritrade Institutional; Lazetta Rainey Braxton CFP®, Financial Fountains; Eleanor Blaney CFP®, CFP Board Consumer Advocate; and Nancy Kristner CFP®, founding chair of CFP Board’s Women’s Initiative.
