Erica Rosenblatt chose to study sales because she wanted to be a well-rounded business person, like her sister Danielle Rosenblatt, who also has a Professional Sales degree from the Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales. Erica took advantage of all of the sales events and networking opportunities offered at the Russ Berrie Institute. These habits allowed Erica to really get to know all of the different companies that visit William Paterson University. Having made these strong connections, Erica was able to get a better understanding of what company cultures fit well with her personality. The class Key Account Management helped Erica narrow down what company she wanted to invest herself in. This was because she was able to choose a company that she saw herself working for and choose another company she would have to potentially sell to. “I chose two companies that I was very interested in. It allowed me to analyze their entire company and their history, then I was asked to do a presentation of the two and pitch a need for a key account”. Becoming more familiar with both companies made Erica even more positive of her decision. Rosenblatt had the opportunity to intern with United Parcel Service (UPS) in her junior year, while at William Paterson University. Her position as a Sales Account Executive Intern gave her the chance to shadow account executives on the road, sit in on corporate sales training, and get a feel for the company culture. This internship allowed Erica the ability to apply the skills she was learning in school and develop them. Erica’s work ethic has brought her much recognition. Erica has accepted a full-time position with UPS before graduation! Best wishes at UPS Erica! We look forward to your continued success! Erica Rosenblatt is #RBISales! Erica Rosenblatt '16
