Jeanne Arnold, MSW, Ed.D Jeanne J. Arnold most recently served as the inaugural Chief Diversity Equity and Inclusion Officer and Chief of Staff at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to joining St. Francis, Jeanne established the Vice President for Inclusion and Equity role at Grand Valley State University and the Chief Diversity Officer role at Gettysburg College. While at Grand Valley State, she co-authored an article, The journey to an inaugural chief diversity officer: Preparation, implementation and beyond. Jeanne earned her doctorate in Higher Education Management and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State.” In addition to Jeanne’s academic connection to the University of Pennsylvania, she is a former administrator there who served as Director of the African American Resource Center and Executive Director of the Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Programs. She has served on the Board of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education in a variety of roles since 2011. Currently, Jeanne is the first vice president and chairperson of the annual conference planning committee.
