Speaker Bios Jhiree Davis-Jones ’06, Med ’13, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), NCC (National Board-Certified Counselor), has been a trailblazer in the Mental Health industry for over a decade. She is the proud owner of a highly acclaimed counseling practice, Cherry Blossom Healing, located in Bergen County, NJ. Jhiree is an educator of 18 years and currently serves the youth as a Middle School Counselor in Paterson where she is honored to pour into the lives of her students. This love for counseling was discovered during her previous career as an elementary teacher. Jhiree is the CEO and Founder of the Rise Beyond Your Circumstance initiative which awards a scholarship to (2) high achieving Paterson High School seniors. She is also the CEO and Founder of a self-care conference, entitled Invest in You. In addition to being a successful Entrepreneur, Jhiree is a Philanthropist, Change Agent, Self-Published Author to Amazon's #1 Released book titled, "My Current Past”, and acknowledged with the Alpha Alpha Lambda Community Development, Inc., 2023 Juneteenth Excellence Award for the top 40 Professionals in New Jersey under 40 years old. Jhiree is a 2024-25 recipient of William Paterson University’s new initiative, 50 Under 50. Stefanie Shore MSN ‘23 is a seasoned healthcare professional and dynamic motivational speaker focusing on health and wellness topics for her talks and presentations. She emphasizes the importance of unconditional confidence and self-worth as foundational elements for personal growth. She empowers individuals to enhance their mental and physical fitness. Stefanie also covers a wide range of health and wellness topics, equipping audiences with practical tools for a healthier, more fulfilled life. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University and a Master Science in Nursing from William Paterson University in Adult Gerontology/Nurse Practitioner. Stefanie serves as a Pesce Family Mentoring Institute Mentor. With over 20 years of experience across emergency medicine, gastroenterology, oncology, and nephrology, Stefanie currently works as a nurse practitioner empowering individuals with chronic conditions to take control of their health. Through her motivational speaking, Stefanie is passionate about helping people RESET and reshape their lives and unlock their potential, regardless of past trauma or setbacks. Drawing from her own life—overcoming family tragedy, navigating her father's chronic disability, balancing a demanding career with education, fitness advocacy, divorce, and raising children—she offers guidance on building unbreakable confidence in the face of adversity. Stefanie’s speaking topics include unconditional confidence, overcoming obstacles and redefining trauma, the power of empathy and gratitude, developing a personal mission, intention and energy, mental and physical fitness, and stress management. Stephanie Spies ’17, CFP® EA, Financial Advisor, joined Modera in January of 2017 as a member of the firm’s portfolio management team. She supported the trading, rebalancing, and reconciliation processes for Modera’s client portfolios for over a year before transitioning to a planning associate role. Stephanie is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) professional and an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA). Enrolled agents are federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Additionally, Stephanie is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and is involved with their NAPFA Genesis program, a volunteer committee dedicated to building the community of young planners. Stephanie earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Financial Planning from William Paterson University, graduating magna cum laude and with business honors. She was a member of the William Paterson University team that took first place overall in the Financial Planning Association’s 2016 Financial Planning Challenge, and is a member of the Cotsakos College of Business Recent Alumni Business Council. Outside of work you’re most likely to find Stephanie on an outdoor adventure, cheering on her favorite sports teams, or spending time with her family. Rebecca Stegmann MA ‘20 is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of Camellia Counseling, located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Rebecca was drawn to the field of therapy from a desire to connect deeply with others while offering care and support during painful times. She considers it the highest honor to join her clients on their mental health journeys and help them grow with care. Rebecca specializes in the treatment of adolescents and young adults who are struggling with trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well as body image issues, relationship distress, and identity conflicts. She works extensively with her clients to help them create a sense of safety, find relief from their symptoms, and develop fulfilling relationships. Many of Rebecca's clients are navigating the transition from high school to college, or from college to a new job or family structure. Rebecca also enjoys working with the LGBTQA+ community, helping individuals explore their identities and be proud of who they are. Her approach is relational, and her goal is to ensure that her clients are living their lives authentically and fully. As Jon Kabat-Zinn said, "Wherever you go, there you are". Rebecca strives to help you find yourself and your joy despite the difficult moments of life.
