Professor Zhiyuan Cong, Director of the Center for Chinese Art, said, “We are very pleased that our students have such a rare opportunity to hear the lecture by a Chinese master of sculpture. Professor Wu has created so many wonderful sculptures in such a young age. With his outstanding talent, extraordinary energy, excellent sense of art, and handy skills, he is a model of genius and diligence among artists and a legend among sculptors.”

After the lecture, Professor Weishan Wu, accompanied by Professor Cong, visited the campus and CCART. Dr. Edward Weil, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, and Dr. Steve Han, Associate Provost and Dean of the College of Arts and Communication, met with the Wu couple. Margaret Lam and David Yen, Honorary Directors of CCART, invited the Wu couple to dinner in the evening.
