“Lonesome Highway—Hank Williams In Song And Story,” Starring Tim Hadler, to be Presented on April 5

“Lonesome Highway—Hank Williams in Song and Story,” a two-act play starring Tim Hadler as the country music legend, will be presented on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at William Paterson University in Wayne. The show will be held in the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

Tickets are available at the Shea Center Box Office in advance at 973.720.2371 or wp-presents.org. Tickets are $20 for orchestra seating and $15 for loge seating.

This biographical musical starring Tim Hadler tells the story of the legendary Hank Williams, considered one of the most popular American country singers/songwriters and the father of contemporary country music. The show follows Williams from his humble beginnings in Alabama to his triumphs on the stage at the Gran Ole Opry and to his tragic death at age 29.

Hadler is a country singer, songwriter and guitarist. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, appeared on “The Crook and Chase Countdown” on the Nashville Network and has opened for several artists, including Jack Greene and Emmylou Harris. He has released a CD, “Glad You Made It,” featuring 10 songs that he co-wrote.
