Eight outstanding Chinese artists from Nanjing, China, visit the Center for Chinese Art for an art exhibition: Oriental Elegance: Eight Masters’ Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Color Paintings and panel discussion from July 23 to August 23, 2015. Professor Zhiyuan Cong is the exhibition curator and catalog essay contributor.

Chinese fine-brushworked painting is a kind of Chinese painting related to Chinese ink painting and Chinese folk painting. It requires the artist to have profound Chinese culture and artistic cultivation, solid grasp of painting composition, shape, color and technical skills. It reached its brilliant peak during the Song Dynasty in Chinese painting history. We invited representative and outstanding Chinese fine-brushworked painting young artists of Jiangsu, China.
