Professor Elizabeth Ekmekjian Wins 2017 Diversity & Inclusion Impact Award from New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants

Elizabeth Ekmekjian, professor of accounting at William Paterson University, was among 27 honorees selected as recipients of the New Jersey Society of CPAs Diversity & Inclusion Impact Award. This year’s award was based on dedication and commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion issues within the accounting profession and, in many cases, personally mentoring staff to leadership roles in the industry or students to follow an accounting path.

Ekmekjian and other honorees will be featured in the September/October issue of New Jersey CPA magazine.
