"The Doo Wop Project" Will Perform Classic Oldies at William Paterson on December 8, 2017

The Doo Wop Project, featuring the former and current stars of the Tony Award-winning Broadway smash, “Jersey Boys”, Motown the Musical” and “A Bronx Tale,” will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 8, at William Paterson University. The performance will take place at the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

Tickets are available at the Shea Center Box Office in advance at 973.720.2371 or wp-presents.org. Tickets are $33 for orchestra and $27 for loge.

Lead stars of the hit Broadway musical, “Jersey Boys,” and others will perform many classic pop hits, including to classic Doo Wop and the music that inspired an era of music. The show will feature hits such as “Denise,” “Little Bitty Pretty One” and “Since I Don’t Have You,” as well as classic contemporary songs by Michael Jackson and other artists. The performers will share personal stories from their lives and the music business, and how it led them to form the group.

This does not feature “Jersey Boys” material and/or songs by Frankie Valli or The Four Seasons. This evening will feature the classic songs that inspired the sounds from the hit Broadway musical.
