University’s Hobart Manor to hold “Dressed for the Holidays” Tours on Friday, November 30, 2018

Hobart Manor, a national historic site built in 1877 and a centerpiece of the William Paterson University campus, will be open to the public for viewing while decorated for the holidays on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

The event will include docents and live music. Admission is $5 per person and will benefit the Hobart Manor Restoration Fund.

Each public room will be decorated with a different holiday theme to capture the spirit of the season. Knowledgeable docents will be available throughout to answer questions about the beautiful nineteenth century Tudor style estate, recognized on the National and New Jersey Registers of Historical Places for its architectural and historical significance.

William Paterson is located at 300 Pompton Road, Wayne, New Jersey. Visitors may enter campus at Entry 2 and park in the visitors lot (right at guard gate), and follow signs from the parking lot to Hobart Manor.

Hobart Manor is handicapped accessible. Those with special needs may call ahead with any questions to the Office of Special Events at 973.720.2931.
