Award-Winning Violin Duo Sons of Mystro to Perform on March 26 at William Paterson University

Sons of Mystro, an award-winning violin duo, will present their innovative arrangements of popular music at William Paterson University in Wayne on Thursday, March 26 at 12:30 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. Their performance is part of the University’s WP Presents and Midday Concert Series.

Sons of Mystro is an award-winning violin duo featuring brothers Malcolm and Umoja McNeish, whose music reflects their Carribean roots, American upbringing, and classical music training. They use their violins to interpret reggae classics, American pop songs, and their own creations accompanied by a DJ and a drummer. They are winners of the Best Emerging Artist under 21 Award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards.
