William Paterson University Launches 100 Percent Online Degree Programs

--Online programs in education, nursing, and business serve working professionals

William Paterson University is excited to introduce 10 fully online degree programs. These new online options in education, nursing, and business are designed to serve working professionals and provide students with additional educational opportunities beyond the University’s campus-based programs.

The three online education degree options are the Master of Arts (MA) in Higher Education Administration and two versions of a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership, one of which includes New Jersey certification opportunities.

The online nursing program is the Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) and is built for nurses who have completed their associate’s degree and are licensed as a Registered Nurse.

These programs join the recently announced Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree programs. In addition to the broad-based general MBA, the University is offering five more specialized online MBAs with concentrations in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Accounting.

“We are proud to offer these 10 William Paterson degree programs in high-demand areas such as education, healthcare, and business in a fully online, fast track format designed to meet the needs of working professionals,” says Joshua Powers, PhD, William Paterson University’s provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. “Our new programs provide students with options that enable them to complete their degree in one year, online, on their own time, and with various available start dates.”

An accelerated format allows students in these online programs to graduate in as few as 12 months while maintaining full-time employment and fulfilling personal responsibilities. The flexible design permits 24/7 access to the programs for students in and beyond New Jersey who seek a personalized, supportive learning environment. All these online degree programs offer seven-week courses and six start dates each year.

Enrollment is open now. The first cycle of classes in each program begins July 13, 2020. Apply now at online.wpunj.edu.
