University’s Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science Reaccredited by ABET for Quality Curriculum that Prepares Graduates for Critical Technical Fields


William Paterson University’s bachelor’s degree program in computer science has been reaccredited through 2026 by ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. 

“ABET accreditation is a badge of approval by the accrediting committee that deems our program meets the highest standards in preparing students for leadership roles in critical technical fields,” says Venkat Sharma, dean of the College and Science and Health. 

“Congratulations to the stellar team of faculty, staff, students, and alumni in the Department of Computer Science led by Gilbert Ndjatou, department chair, for this achievement.”

William Paterson is one of nine New Jersey institutions with a bachelor of science degree in computer science program accredited by ABET.
