Virtual Youth Saturday University Programs Available for Middle and High School Students in an Array of Subjects from October 3 to November 21


Make your first video game, be a radio DJ, or pick up tips on how to be successful in the business world. These are just a few examples of what children can learn during William Paterson University’s Virtual Youth Saturday University Programs from October 3 to November 21, 2020.  Register at www.wpunj.edu/youthprograms 

Among the many offerings are Introduction to Game Design, eSports Apprentice, Inventor’s League—Prototyping for the Future!, YouTube Content Creators, Graphic Design, Creative Writing, Math Review & Recovery, Reading Program, Handling Stress in Positive Ways, Elections & You, College Major and Career Pathways Exploration, and more.

High School students may take courses like “Plan for Your Future: Thinking about Life after High School” or brush up on their skills with Elections & You, Academic Writing, College Major and Career Pathways Exploration, Anatomy and Physiology, Public Speaking or Web Design.

Taught by William Paterson faculty, adjuncts and long-time instructors of the University’s Summer Youth Programs, these courses are designed to support families and keep students engaged and learning.

The instructors will use Zoom, Blackboard and Google Classroom as the online platforms to deliver their instruction. Each of these virtual courses is designed to stimulate students’ imagination and reinforce essential academic skills in the comfort of their homes.
