Virtual Wednesdays Performance Features Comedian Mike Delamont in God is a Scottish Drag Queen on February 17

Award-winning Canadian comedian Mike Delamont brings his hit one-man show, God is a Scottish Drag Queen: Pandemic Edition, to your living room in an online performance on Wednesday, February 17 at 8 p.m. as part of William Paterson University’s WP Presents! Virtual Wednesdays series.

An original cast member of the acclaimed cult cabaret Atomic Vaudeville, Delamont is well known for his critically acclaimed one man show God Is a Scottish Drag Queen. In this latest edition, filmed before a live audience, God, dressed in a floral power suit, comes out of quarantine to expound on everything and to let off some steam about what humans have been doing and not doing and his attempts to remain calm in the face of their actions.

Winner of 22 “Best of the Fest” awards, Delamont began his stand up career in 2011. He has played the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York, the world-famous comedy store in Los Angeles, and was a finalist on SiriusXM’s Top Comic.

Tickets are “pay what you choose” at $10, $15, $20, $25 and $30. Tickets must be purchased in advance. For additional information, call the Shea Center for Performing Arts Box Office at 973-720-2371 or visit wp-presents.org.
