Women’s History Month Celebrates ‘Valiant Women of the Vote: We are Powerful Together’

“Valiant Women of the Vote: We are Powerful Together” is this year’s theme as William Paterson University celebrates Women’s History Month during March 2021 with a series of virtual events.

Mara Liasson, national political correspondent for National Public Radio, will give the opening talk on Tuesday, March 2. Liasson can be heard regularly on NPR’s award-winning newsmagazine programs Morning Edition and All Things Considered. She provides coverage of politics and policy from Washington, DC, focusing on the White House and Congress, and also reports on political trends beyond the Beltway.

Other virtual discussions and events include topics such as diversity and inclusion, empowerment, leadership and career, politics and government, safety and abuse prevention, science, social networking and entertainment. For more information, visit Pioneer Life Women’s History Celebration.
