A Cappella Group Naturally 7 Featured in Virtual Concert on March 24

The internationally acclaimed American a cappella group Naturally 7, one of the finalists on the 2019 CBS reality talent competition TV show The World’s Best, presents a virtual concert on Wednesday, March 24 at 8 p.m. as part of William Paterson University’s WP Presents! Virtual Wednesdays series.

The tightly orchestrated group describes its sound as “vocal play” group, which, according to group leader Roger Thomas, is “the art of becoming an instrument using the human voice to create the sound.” They simulate the sounds of an instrumental band using only their voices, mouths and distortion effects.

The group’s more than 20-year career has included three world tours with Michael Bublé, shared billing with Coldplay, and a pair of national Cheerios commercials. In addition to Bublé, Naturally 7 has shared the stage with numerous icons, including Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, Sarah Connor, Lionel Richie, Ludacris, The Roots, and more. Their recently released eleventh album, 20/20, in celebration of their 20th anniversary, features 20 favorites selected by fans around the world.

Tickets are “pay what you choose” at $5, $10, $15, $20, $25 and $30. Tickets must be purchased in advance. For additional information, call the Shea Center for Performing Arts Box Office at 973-720-2371 or visit wp-presents.org.
