Legendary Drummer Carl Palmer Brings Band Tribute Show to William Paterson on November 21

Carl Palmer, legendary drummer and member of progressive rock supergroup Emerson, Lake & Palmer, will perform a tribute show honoring his former bandmates with his group, Carl Palmer’s ELP Experience, at William Paterson University in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus in Wayne, NJ on Sunday, November 21.

The performance will start at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 for gold circle, $40 for orchestra/front loge, and $35 for rear loge seating.

For nearly four decades, Palmer has thrilled listeners and audiences with some of music’s most memorable bands including Atomic Rooster, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Asia, and perhaps most notably, Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP), the former powerhouse rock group made up of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Palmer.

With the passing of Emerson and Lake, Palmer and his tribute band hit the road in their honor, reinventing the music of ELP while capturing the power of megahits “Pictures at an Exhibition,” “Lucky Man,” “From the Beginning,” and “Tarkus,” in a hard-driving, instrumental performance that’s winning global rave reviews.

Considered as one of rock and roll’s greatest drummers, Palmer is a dynamic showman and brilliant technician behind the drums, having been inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1989.
