Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi Tribute Bands Headline Rock of Jersey at William Paterson University on March 5

Rock of Jersey, a multimedia event featuring tribute bands Slippery When Wet and the BStreetBand, will be held in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on the William Paterson University campus in Wayne, NJ on Saturday, March 5.

The performance pays tribute to two of New Jersey’s most popular artists and captures the sound of the state’s famed ‘80s rock and roll.

Slippery When Wet features a group of seasoned New York and New Jersey rock veterans raised on the same streets and playing in many of the same bars and nightclubs as Jon Bon Jovi and his band. These experienced musicians bring the same energy and attitude to the stage as early Bon Jovi, playing their greatest hits and igniting audiences with their signature style.

Hailing from the Jersey shore, the BStreetBand tours year-round throughout the country performing Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s greatest songs. Loved and supported by the musicians they honor, the BStreetBand has had the privilege of performing with several E Street Band members including Steve Van Zandt, Max Weinberg, the late Clarence Clemons, Garry W. Tallent, and Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez. Springsteen himself has made an appearance to see the BStreetBand.

The performance will start at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 for orchestra and $30 for loge seating.
