WP Theatre Presents Laughing Wild by Christopher Durang from April 5 through April 9

William Paterson University Theatre presents Laughing Wild by acclaimed playwright Christopher Durang in the Hunziker Black Box Theatre on the campus in Wayne, NJ from Tuesday, April 5 through Saturday, April 9.

Performance times are Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., Wednesday through Friday at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. General admission is $10 and $7 for the WP community and senior citizens.

Set in late-‘80s New York City, Laughing Wild is a hilarious parody of perception and understanding of common social norms, written for one male and one female trying to deal with the funny occurrences that people traversing urban life encounter.

With the approval of Durang, the play has been transformed into a tour de force for five women as they represent the different sides of each character - first the female, and then the male -  followed by comical interactions in which the audience isn’t sure who each actor is portraying.

The cast includes WP students Victoria Castrogiovanni, Oak Ridge, NJ; Siani Feliciano, Washington Twp., NJ; Kathleen Stavar, Hope Lawn, NJ; Bailey Stewart, West Milford, NJ; and Emily Wynne, Verona, NJ.
