William Paterson University Presents Holiday Classic, Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet, on November 14

William Paterson University in Wayne will present the holiday classic, Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet, on Monday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus.

The largest touring production of its kind, Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet, on its 30th anniversary tour, features world-class dancers and acrobats, unique storytelling, and visually stunning larger-than-life puppets that new and returning fans will love and recognize. The show evokes a simpler time filled with sweet dreams and Christmas magic in this production of the classic story set to the famous score by Tchaikovsky.

New to the production are a flock of white doves and a cadre of delicate marionettes crafted by master puppeteers in the World UNESCO Heritage city of Prague, Czech Republic. These intricate new puppets accompany the well-known Dove of Peace Adagio and The Land of Peace and Harmony in Act II of the production.

In solidarity with the artists and people of Ukraine, a portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine through UNICEF.

Tickets are $125 for Gold Circle, $65 for orchestra, $55 for front loge, and $45 for rear loge. Gold Circle patrons secure the best seats in the house and receive the 30th Anniversary coffee table book and collectible Nutcracker ornament. Gold Circle tickets can only be purchased by calling the Shea Center Box Office at 973-720-2371.
