New Jersey Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way to Give Keynote Speech at Women’s Equality Conference Hosted by WP’s Small Business Development Center


New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way will serve as the keynote speaker for a women’s equality conference at William Paterson University on Thursday, August 15 at 5:30 p.m.

The conference, titled “Breaking Barriers in the Workplace,” is hosted by the New Jersey Small Business Development Center, whose Passaic County hub is housed within William Paterson University’s Cotsakos College of Business. With a panel discussion featuring prominent business figures as well as networking opportunities, the conference aims to drive women’s leadership and foster gender equality within the business community. 

“It is a privilege to deliver the keynote address at the Women’s Equality Conference at the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at William Paterson University," says Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way. "As women, we must work together to empower each other so that we can overcome obstacles, achieve gender equality, and ensure there is always a seat for us at the table.”

The event, which is open to the public free of charge, will be hosted on the campus of William Paterson’s Cotsakos College of Business, located at 1600 Valley Road in Wayne. There is ample free parking on site. The program is as follows:

Registration, Networking and Expo: 4 p.m.

Welcome remarks and keynote speaker: 5:30 p.m.

Panel discussion, “Empowering Women in Leadership”: 6 p.m.
