     Neil Grimes (Education & Curriculum Materials Librarian) presented at several conferences including co-presenting "How Did We Get Here? Breaking Down Barriers in Our Library Careers” at the 2024 NJ Libraries Association Conference and “Academic and School Library Partnerships: An Organization Led Collaboration” at the 16th Bridging the Spectrum Symposium with Gary Marks, Jr. (Reference & Outreach Librarian). Grimes also co-authored “Closing the Digital Divide through Digital Equity: The Role of Libraries and Librarians” in Public Library Quarterly.


     Gary Marks, Jr. (Reference & Outreach Librarian)
was recently elected as Vice-Chair/Chair Elect of the Association of College & Research Libraries Chapter Council. Marks is currently serving as the Past-President of the NJ Academic Libraries Section of NJLA. Marks led the launch of a new “Teaching Thursdays” initiative in NJ, creating virtual teaching circles for academic and school librarians to foster a community of practice and a continuum of Information Literacy skill development for the K-16 NJ education community. Marks co-presented “Exploring DEI Through LibGuides” at the NJ Library Association Annual Conference, Academic & School Library Partnerships: An Organizational Approach” at the ACRL Chapters Council Annual Meeting, and “Launching a Library Micro credential” at the NJAL Reference & User Education Summer Workshop.


     Dave Williams (Digital Initiatives & Special Collections Librarian)
published "Inviting Knowledge: Enhancing Archival Discovery through Information Design" in College & Research Libraries. Williams participated in the SAA User Experience, Accessibility, and Discovery Conference and serves on the User Experience (UX) Committee of the Society of American Archivists.
