Overview

The esteemed trumpeter Brian Lynch and his high-powered Latin jazz ensemble Spheres of Influence are sure to light up the stage with their fiery playing. He was voted Trumpeter of The Year by the Jazz Journalists Association in 2017, and garnered a Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album in 2006. Professor Lynch teaches at the Frost School

of Music at the University of Miami and has been the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Chamber Music America, and Meet The Composer. His group, Spheres Of Influence, mixes Black American, Afro-Caribbean, and other musical traditions in original works and arrangements by Lynch. Bring the fire extinguishers for this one!
