2023 COIN STIPEND

The COIN Stipend recognizes exceptional students dedicated to personal and professional growth.

The stipend is awarded based on the following criteria:

  1. Participation in the Career Development Sessions: Students must have attended at least one Career Development Session during the COIN program. These sessions are designed to help students develop their professional skills, such as resume writing, interviewing, and networking.

  2. Participation in the Career Outlook Sessions: Students must have attended at least two of the Career Outlook Sessions offered during the COIN program. These sessions are designed to help students explore business topics to be better informed of available career opportunities.

The 2023 COIN Stipend is funded by generous alumni and friends who value personal and professional development. Eligible applicants must meet all of the requirements. The stipend is available for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a major in the Cotsakos College of Business; continuing students must be in good academic standing (minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0).  WP Online students are not eligible.

  • "The Power of LinkedIn: Unlocking Career Opportunities"
  • "Landing Your Dream Job: Interviewing and Resume Writing Strategies"
  • "Building a Successful Business Career: Lessons from Young Alumni of the Cotsakos College of Business"

Career Outlook Sessions (Attend Two or more)

  • "Navigating the Future of Business with Generative AI: Insights from Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders"
  • "Navigating the Cybersecurity Landscape: Opportunities for Business Students"
  • “From Start-Up to Success: Marc Lore's Entrepreneurial Journey”
  • “Risk Management and Insurance: Unlocking Career Opportunities"
  • “Emerging Leaders: The Future of Management, Marketing, and Sales Professionals”
  • "The Competitive Edge: How a CPA License Can Advance Your Business Career"
  • "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Business: Why It Matters"


The amount of each stipend is determined by the number of students who meet the provided criteria and the amount of funds raised. For the past 11 years, the stipend has exceeded $500 per student. Eligible students will be notified by the Cotsakos College of Business no later than Monday, November 20, 2023.
