Logistics for the Global Economy, Undergraduate Certificate

Logistics for the Global Economy is an advanced certificate designed for students in Economics or any of the business majors who wish to distinguish themselves with a specialization in global economics and logistics. Students completing this certificate will understand the global economic environment in which a firm exists as well as the institutions and regulations that affect businesses. Students will examine the changes in technology that affect businesses in the global environment and develop an understanding of the important role of supply chain management in today’s business environment.

Students with an interest in any analytical or management job with an international firm would benefit from this certificate. The courses in this certificate contribute to the Global Business major as well as the major and minor in Economics. Students from other business majors could use the courses in this certificate to complete an Economic minor.
