ABOUT PROGRAM______________________________ OVERVIEWDevelop career and virtual interview skills - in just 5-weeks! The National Sales Boot Camp is an expert-led sales education program that prepares you for your first sales job. The program is a mix of sales career discussions and coaching from industry experts, career assignments, and networking with fellow students. Twice a week, students will have the opportunity to learn directly from human resource and sales professionals. Who should participate in this program?The National Sales Boot Camp is designed for college students pursuing a career in professional sales and wanting to develop career skills to get their first sales job. When you complete this program, you will be able to: Select a sales career path based upon your interests and personality Identify opportunities that align with your career path Ace the virtual job interview Negotiate the job offer Start your new job with confidence FORMATThe National Sales Boot Camp is a 5-week online sales education program. The program consists of four components – National Sales Boot Camp Community, Sales Career Assignments, Sales Career Fireside Chats, and Sales Career Coaching Sessions. NATIONAL SALES BOOT CAMP COMMUNITY The National Sales Boot Camp Community is an online community to provide students and coaches a safe and secure place to engage throughout the program. The career-focused community includes member profiles, discussion topics, chat rooms, program schedule, and more. The online community is accessible 24/7 via a web browser or mobile app and managed by a community manager to assist with questions and technical support. After the 5-week program ends, students and boot camp coaches are encouraged to use the online community as a networking and career advancement resource. SALES CAREER ASSIGNMENTSThe Sales Career Assignments are provided to help reinforce the weekly program themes. The students will complete weekly challenges to improve practical career skills, identify the best sales job and develop a strategic career plan to pursue meaningful careers. SALES CAREER FIRESIDE CHATSThe Sales Career Fireside Chats are 60-minute moderator-led panel discussions with industry human resources and sales professionals. The virtual Fireside Chats will offer students the opportunity to ask thought-provoking questions to help them gain realistic insights to guide their sales career path and complete their Sales Career Assignments. The topics include The Sales Career Path, The Job Search, The Virtual Job Interview, The Job Offer, and The New Job. SALES CAREER COACHING SESSIONSThe Sales Career Coaching Sessions are 60-minute online group meetings led by boot camp coaches (human resource and sales professionals). The coaching sessions provides time for coaches to guide students to complete their Sales Career Assignments.
