Opportunities for Women In Financial Planning 

Career Preparedness Program (CPP) is a customized program designed by the Russ Berie Institue for Profesional Sales (RBI) to help students prepare for a successful entry into ‘real world’ on completing their degrees at William Paterson University.

What Are The Highlights Of CPP?
Getting ready for the real world
• A 90 minute workshop conducted by industry executives to help students identify strategies to land their first job in a fast paced Q & A format

Mock  interviews
• 20 minute interview sessions for a generic job with personalized feedback
• Interviewers from the industry
• Sessions video-taped for self-critique and skill development

Real world interactions 
• Executives from 20 companies (see list below)
• True Career Networking setting
• Opportunity for understanding what companies are looking for (you may even get an internship or a job interview!)

When Is CPP?
Career Networking Evnt: February 16-18, 2017 10:00am to 4:00pm (Room: VR Café)
• Career Preparation
Workshop: February 25, 2016 - 
12:30 to 2:00 PM (Room: VR 2022)
• Mock Interview Sessions: March 1-3, 2016 - Time TBD (Room: RBI Sales Labs)

Who Is Eligible?
 • Marketing majors who have completed at least 60 credits (Juniors and Seniors)
• Minimum GPA of 2.75
• Who are eager to get jobs on graduation!

 How Does This Work?
• Prescreened candidates will receive an invitation via email containing instructions to register
• There will be a short window of 48-72 hours to register
• Those who complete all the three components will be awarded a certificate by RBI

 What Else Is Required?
• A professional resume (multiple copies- at least 10)
• Professional attire at mock interviews and job fair
• Hunger for succeeding in job search!
