Within the BFA, concentrations are offered in:
The BA major is offered in studio art, combining studio art and art history courses with a broader liberal arts training. Certification for teaching is also offered, through either a double major within the College of Education or post-grad Alternate Route (see https://www.wpunj.edu/coe/departments/).
The BFA degree is oriented for those students who seek a rigorous professional studio arts program.
Both the BA and BFA degrees focus on enhancing visual perception, cultivating critical and independent thinking, and preparing students for variety of careers which require a keenly developed sensitivity in the visual arts.
Minors in studio art and history are also offered.
