Graduate English as a Second Language (ESL) Certificate

For all graduate programs, all applicants are required to have a NJ Teaching License.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) certification program is designed for individuals who possess a New Jersey standard teaching certificate in a content area or elementary education and who wish to become certified to teach English as a Second Language. It requires 21 credits of study in seven courses, and has the option of continuing in the M.Ed. in Bilingual/ESL program. This program is fully online with synchronous meetings.
