Phi Theta Sigma is a merit-based law fraternity dedicated to the principles of scholarship, service, fellowship, civic engagement, and ethics. Phi Theta Sigma was founded at William Paterson University as part of the Legal Studies Program. The membership is made up of a diverse group of students from across the campus who share an interest in the study of law. Membership is by invitation only. To be eligible for membership, students must maintain a strong academic record and receive a recommendation from an active member.
