Spring 2023 Semester

The Spring 2023 semester begins on Monday, January 23, 2023. The University will provide on-campus instruction, as well as a mix of online and hybrid courses. Campus life will feature primarily in-person programs and events and in-person interactions with peers, faculty, and staff. The Office of Residence Life will offer a traditional occupancy model. Student support services will be offered both in person and remotely. The University continues to adhere to all state and federal guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe and healthy work and learning environment.

Health and Safety Protocols

All students, as well as all employees, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Those with approved medical or religious exemptions may be subject to regular COVID-19 testing.

COVID vaccine boosters are not being required at this time; however, they are strongly encouraged for everyone who is eligible to receive them.

Home test kits for COVID-19 are widely available in pharmacies, grocery stores, and other retail locations. In addition, the State of New Jersey COVID-19 Information Hub,, offers resources for accessing testing locations.

Students who may have been exposed to COVID-19 or are having symptoms may get tested through the Counseling, Health and Wellness Center. Any student requesting to be tested should call 973-720-2360 to make an appointment.

A WP COVID Testing Portal has been established to help streamline contact tracing and notifications. All student and employees will have access to their own portal and can upload their test results.

As of Fall 2022, the University is a mask-friendly campus, and this will continue in Spring 2023. Masks are still required for all in the Counseling, Health and Wellness Center. All individuals who are exposed to COVID-19 will be required to wear masks in all indoor spaces for 10 days post-exposure. The masking policy is subject to change depending on conditions in the community.
