For employers, career readiness plays a vital role in hiring talent and identifying essential skills and abilities. It allows employers an effective talent development and hiring strategy that focuses on transferable skills, experience, and personal attributes.
The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) developed 8 core career readiness competencies to connect what students gain from their academic experience, co-curricular activities, and experiential learning opportunities.
