Our office oversees the following areas for William Paterson University: Transfer Articulation Agreements Reverse Transfer Agreements High School Dual Enrollment Cohort Programs Mission The mission of the Office of Community College & Dual Enrollment Partnerships is to provide outstanding administrative support to the academic endeavors of the four colleges at William Paterson University pertaining to transfer credit/articulation and high school dual enrollment courses. The office upholds the university’s transfer credit procedure and develops non-traditional cohort-based programs, modules, initiatives, and other original educational models. The office substantiates the university’s mission and core values of offering excellent academic programs, increasing student success, and strengthening the bonds of community and service throughout and beyond the university. The office values collaboration, diversity, respect, accuracy, and effective communication at all levels. Goals The office believes that a systematic reflection, analysis, and review of policies and procedures optimize a William Paterson University student’s academic and overall experience. Thus, the Office of Community College & Dual Enrollment Partnerships will: 1. Constantly seek innovative ways to partner with university academic departments and community colleges to promote and maintain transfer credit articulation agreements and reverse transfer agreements that will accelerate our students’ timely degree completion. 2. Provide administrative oversight to dual enrollment high school initiatives as well as bachelor's degree completion programs in support of the university’s mission. 4. Maintain and support upper level degree completion programs at William Paterson University's associated off-site locations. 5. Stay well-informed on the best practices and trends of academic integrity, transfer credit, special sessions, and higher education policy.
