RAPID Plus Program

We are excited to share that William Paterson University, in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Education, will serve as the RAPID Plus provider for Bergen, Passaic, Sussex, and Warren Counties. Join William Paterson University for a FREE professional development opportunity exclusively for fourth through sixth-grade teachers to support student reading success.

The Reading Acceleration Professional Integrated Development (RAPID) Plus Initiative will bolster literacy in upper elementary grades through targeted, evidence-based professional development for teachers.

Sessions are aligned to the 2023 Revised State Learning Standards in ELA and Scarborough’s Reading Rope. You will:

• Explore evidence-based reading instructional practices for students in grades 4 through 6.
• Engage in interactive sessions.
• Earn up to 4 professional development hours.
• Select from several options for dates, times, and modalities.
• Leave with Takeaway Tools for Tomorrow’s Teaching.
