Graduation Rates

Outcomes Measures

Graduation Rates BOTH (Initial & Advanced levels)

NOTE: Graduate rates for initial and advanced programs are reported cumulatively from the semester they graduate.

Graduation rates for Initial programs:

When examining graduation rates for education majors, it is essential to consider the many stringent NJ state requirements candidates are required to complete before they can be recommended for licensure.

NOTE: It is important to note that the graduation rate data are limited to first time fulltime freshmen, who declared education as one of their majors. Graduation rates do not account for the candidates who change their major to education or transfer into the university as education majors.

Four-year graduation rates for completers (2014-2017) ranged from 15%-50%. To improve, the University is monitoring graduation rates through Key Performance Indicators which are shared and acted on each semester.

Graduation Rates for Advanced Programs

NOTE: The endorsement programs changed coding to certificate. The results below show the certificate graduation rates and do not reflect previous code (of endorsement).

Many candidates are part-time and graduation rates vary by program requirements. 2-year graduation rates for completers from 2017-2019 ranged from 4%-100%.
