The Diane Kalish Endowed Scholarship Fund: This scholarship was established by the generous contributions of the Kalish family in loving memory of Dr. Diane Kalish, Associate Professor of Mathematics, WPU. Eligibility: The scholarship will be awarded to a student who meets the following basic criteria: Enrolled full-time student at WPU (at least twelve (12) credits per semester) Demonstrates academic achievement in Mathematics with a minimum GPA of 3.3 Demonstrates financial hardship, not necessarily as defined by the federal government Preference given to but not limited to female students The Diane Kalish Endowed Scholarhsip application form Marcello Llarull Scholarship Fund: This scholarship was established by the generous contributions of the Mathematics faculty, friends & Llarull family in loving memory of Dr. Marcello Llarull, Professor of Mathematics, WPU. Eligibility: A senior mathematics major who has completed at least 25 credits in the major with a major GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition to academic excellence, recipient of the scholarship must have a proven record of service to the department such as tutoring at the Mathematics Learning Center, active participation in the Math Club, Math Fair, Math Awareness Week, presentation of a talk or poster at a mathematics conference etc. Marcello Llarull Scholarship application form NOTE: Completed application forms are due in the Office, Department of Mathematics, Science Hall East 3030, William Paterson University, 300 Pompton Road, Wayne NJ 07470, by 12:00 noon on the first Friday in May every year.
