Kristen Arnell, BS Major: Applied Health, Class of 2013 Position: Patient Access Supervisor Agency: Atlantic Health System/Morristown Medical Center Responsible for the management of the Registration Department of the Gagnon Cardiovascular Unit of Morristown Medical Center, Kristen supervises a staff that is responsible for 1800-2000 patients monthly. Kristen provides ongoing staff training about the ever changing health care laws and the resultant impact on patient billing. Kristen utilizes her background in health management and policy implementation to work closely with patients, health insurance carriers, physician offices, and electro-physiology and cardiology departments in the tri-state area to ensure efficient and high-quality operations. Kristen plans to continue her education in Health Administration at the graduate level. (October, 2014)
