Hospitality Services Mission Statement The Department of Hospitality Services consists of dedicated professionals servicing the WP community in the areas such as Dining Programs/Services, University Bookstore, University Commons Operations, Events & Conference Scheduling, ID/Pioneer Express Card, Entertainment Center, Information and Referral Desk and Campus Vending. The department’s mission incorporates a service philosophy that supports the University’s Student Success Plan and the respective Key Performance Indicators. Our ambition is to offer services that ensure a comfortable visit or stay, in a warm, welcoming and exciting environment for all members of our campus community and their guests. We make every effort to provide effective, efficient and responsive services that meet the expectations of our diverse student body. We are a dynamic department that recognizes the importance placed on utilizing technology, and keeping pace with progressively changing customer needs. We aspire to bestow a complete hospitality experience to our students, staff, faculty and visitors.
Our Services Arcade/Entertainment Center – Kick back and relax in the Arcade/Entertainment Center between classes. Audio Visual Services – Need a projector or microphone for your event in the University Commons? We have got trained Media Technicians to help you out! Events & Conference Scheduling – We schedule events in the University Commons and in buildings across campus. Hospitality Entertainment Program – Check out the HEP events taking place in the Arcade at the Info Desk. From live performances to arts and crafts, we have an event for you. ID Center – Replace your ID Card or pick up your first ID Card in the ID Center. Information Desk– Have a question and need a quick answer? Please visit us on the first floor of the Student Center or connect with us virtually. Meal Plans – Purchase a meal plan or change your meal plan with us. Pioneer Express – Learn more about where you can use Pioneer Express on and off campus. Vending Services – We service the vending machines across campus and provide refunds and assistance with the machines. University Commons Operations – We oversee all events and activities that take place in the University Commons.
