NJ ARCH is a State-Funded service that provides support to all individuals concerned with adoption. The organization's goal is to direct people to appropriate adoption services in New Jersey.

Services include counseling and exploring various options prior to and following the birth of the child. Placement and financial assistance are provided when needed.

Eligibility: Services aimed primarily at the Jewish Community but open to the larger community.
Fees Charged:

Licensed by state of NJ to do home study evaluation for adoption and post placement supervision. Offers information groups to learn about adoption; counseling and consultation to new families; support groups for infertile couples, couples awaiting adoption, and children who have been adopted. Also offers birth parent services and post-placement supervision.

Expands adoption opportunities for children with special needs and children from minority cultures. Special needs children include those who are older or brothers/sisters who need homes together. Many have emotional, mental, or physical disabilities.
