The William Paterson University Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies provides educational programs for the University and surrounding communities and fosters scholarly exchange. Led by an Advisory Council of faculty from many disciplines, it offers a wide range of scholarly programming centered around the Holocaust and other genocides, including professional development for teachers, public lectures and conferences, and cultural events. The Center’s programming focuses on how the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides apply to today’s concerns. The Center's large collection of resources on K-12 Holocaust and genocide education, housed in the Curriculum Materials Center of the Cheng Library at William Paterson University, includes children’s literature and curriculum materials curated to support pre- and in-service teachers’ instruction.
